A stirking label and striking wine. The term "Metic" was used in Ancient Greece for a foreigner living in Athens that contributed to the cultural and economic life but did not have the same rights as a true citizen. This wine was inspired by famous song ‘Le Métèque’ by Georges Moustaki which led superstar winemaker Luca to call this wine Metic.
Tasting Note: A medium bodied and delectable example of pure Argentinian Cabernet Sauvignon. Notes of black forest gateau, blackcurrent liqour and savoury tobacco and scrumptious chocolate are noticable among moorish tannins.
The Perfect Serve: A brilliant wine for a BBQ, chargrilled chicken, pork belly and rich lamb roasts. If you're a veggie, chargrilled bell peppers and aubergine will work a treat with this bottle.
